Josh Jacobs, Rushing Game Give Packers Something To Rely On

Green Bay, Wis. - Josh Jacobs and the Packers' rushing game have emerged as a major bright spot for the team this season, providing a consistent source of yards and points while the passing game has struggled to find its footing.

Jacobs Leads the Way

In six games, Jacobs has rushed for 470 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 5.2 yards per carry. He has also been a key contributor in the passing game, catching 19 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns.

"Josh has been a workhorse for us," Packers coach Matt LaFleur said. "He's a physical runner who can break tackles and make big plays."

Offensive Line Steps Up

The Packers' offensive line has played a big role in Jacobs' success this season. The group has been able to create running lanes for Jacobs and protect quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has been sacked just seven times this season.

"Our offensive line has been doing a great job," Jacobs said. "They're opening up holes for me and giving me the chance to make plays."

Rushing Game Key to Success

The Packers' rushing game has been a major factor in the team's success this season. The team is 4-2 when Jacobs rushes for more than 100 yards, and 0-2 when he doesn't.

"Our running game is a big part of our offense," LaFleur said. "It's something we can rely on, even when the passing game is struggling."

Looking Ahead

The Packers will need Jacobs and the rushing game to continue to produce if they want to make a run at the playoffs. The team faces a tough schedule down the stretch, and they will need to be able to run the ball effectively to win games.

"We're going to need to keep running the ball well if we want to be successful," Jacobs said. "We're confident in our ability to do that."
