Henry Rushes For 151 Yards, 2 TDs As Ravens Hang On To Beat Cowboys 28
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Derrick Henry rushed for a season-high 151 yards and two touchdowns, and the Tennessee Titans overcame a 14-point deficit to beat the Dallas Cowboys 28-24 on Thursday night.
Slow Start
The Titans trailed 21-7 at halftime after giving up a 75-yard touchdown pass from Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lamb and a 1-yard run by Tony Pollard.
Henry's Heroics
Henry, who had been held to fewer than 100 yards rushing in his previous three games, carried the ball 33 times and scored on runs of 1 yard and 23 yards.
"He's just a beast," Titans coach Mike Vrabel said. "He's going to get his yards. He's going to make plays for us."
Prescott's Problems
Prescott, who entered the game with 12 interceptions, threw one more on Thursday night. He also fumbled twice, losing one.
"We made too many mistakes," Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said. "We had a chance to put the game away and we didn't do it."
Defensive Struggle
Both defenses came up with big plays in the second half. The Titans' Jeffrey Simmons sacked Prescott twice, forced a fumble, and recovered another. The Cowboys' Micah Parsons intercepted Ryan Tannehill late in the fourth quarter, but the Titans stopped Dallas on downs.
Outlook
The Titans (10-5) remain in contention for the AFC South title. The Cowboys (10-5) dropped their second straight game and now have a tough schedule down the stretch.
